Posters
The collection is mainly integrated by posters coming from the University libraries. The collection includes also posters and promotional materials originated by the different events and university services.

Political posters
Collection of political posters mainly focused on the years of late Franco’s regime, the Spanish Transition (1975-1979) and first democratic elections. The collection, based on Josep Vinyal’s donation, belongs to the Documentary Centre for Communication (CEDOC), attached to the Communication and General Newspapers Library of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The posters reflect the political activity in the above mentioned periods: election campaigns at local, autonomous, state and European level as well as political parties and trade unions propaganda. There is also a remarkable set of posters from different countries worldwide such as Italy, Chile, France, Portugal, Greece and the Soviet Union.

Postcards
Postcards collection devoted to libraries. They are dated from 1900 up to the present day. A large number of these postcards are sights of libraries in Catalonia

Promotional Posters
It collects the graphic production (posters, banners, bookmarks and information boards) originated by promotional campaigns and virtual exhibitions of the Library Services

London International Awards
Compilation (1998-2003) of the famous London International Advertising Awards (LIA) created in London, 1986. With a prestigious jury, the LIA was the first international competition to include distinctions for all sorts of communication media . Year after year the LIA work for recognition of creativity, the power of ideas and new technology in all forms of advertising
