Evergreen¶

Evergreen is an free library management software, and we should take a look due to its Marc21 bibliographic format and (quite) modern user interface.

Comment¶

Evergreen seems to be the most ambitious and mature of the free ILS around. The user interface looks more modern that, for example, Koha. It provides facets and other trendy characteristics.

On the other side, as it was designed from the ground to be deployed for large library consortium (the public library system of Georgia, in the US), the installation looks quite complex and scary to try.
